Heartless American 2.0

Wake up CD,
As we speak (type), there are 12 million people (many are children) facing an extreme humanitarian crisis because of a US support of Saudis bombing in Yemen. Americans, through its white Nationalist, President Trump, seems to HATE women and CHILDREN, in the so-called "land of the free and home of the brave." Where is the outrage, the cry, to halt the bombing with a denunciation of "shame"! Where are the voices of the American Christians and the ones to whom they said, God put into office?

These children are the same ones the so-called "right to life" encourage women to have their babies (even after a forcible rape) then allows armies to have a free hand to bomb children, separate them from their parents at the American borders, and cut off medical services to the Palestinians Refugees. America's disregard for children, at home and abroad, is enough to make God repented He has made the man. Even the sun hate to show its face on a land it once enjoys smiling upon. A day will come when America will cry unto heaven and her prayers would not be heard until she repents of her stony heart. Republicans, Christians, Americans, urge a ceasefire and supply aid to the vast sea of humanity (mostly children) in dire straits in Yemen. God, who is opened to your will? CM

Do you get news where you live? You seem alway be behind the times or current news cycle. At any rate be informed, Reformed:

    1. Key facts about the war in Yemen
The ongoing war in Yemen, which has displaced millions of people, is far more complex than a Sunni-Shia conflict.
    1. The fight to save half a million starving children in Yemen -- by Bernard Smith

Hundreds of thousands of children are suffering acute malnutrition because of the war in Yemen.

Two weeks ago, we reported how two-year-old Bassam Hassan's parents in the Houthi-controlled north could not afford to take him to the capital Sanaa for treatment.

The Houthi administration's health minister saw Bassam’s story on Al Jazeera English and ordered that Bassam be brought for treatment. His condition might improve or he might need treatment from an outside specialist.

But even the health minister may not be able to manage that because the Saudi-UAE coalition has shut down Yemeni airspace, trapping Bassam, as well as the estimated 95,000 other Yemenis in need of treatment abroad, inside the country.

    1. ** 'Unjustified' attack**
The panel's remarks came as survivors of the August bus attack returned to school.

Ahmad Ali Hanash, a 14-year-old student who was friends with the air raid victims, tried to hold back tears. "We tell the enemies that our classmates' blood won't be in vain and that we'll avenge them by getting an education, we will avenge them by learning," Hanash told Al Jazeera.

"Thank God who saved me from this strike and from the hands of this horrendous crime," he said. Other students shared their fears of another potential attack,

"We're sad after we lost our dearest schoolmates, and we are worried that the enemies will strike the school again," said Sadiq Amin Jaafar

Schoolteacher Abdulwahab Salah said all those wounded continue to attend school without exception.

"They come on crutches or wheelchairs. What we've shown is that education for our children is paramount. They attend in spite of their wounds and their fears," he told Al Jazeera.

    1. Civilian casualties in Yemen are high.
As of March 26, 2018, at least 10,000 Yemenis had been killed by the fighting, with more than 40,000 casualties overall.

Getting accurate information on the death toll is difficult, but Save The Children estimated at least 50,000 children died in 2017, an average of 130 every day.

    Help the children!!! CM

Wow, the tone and "facts" between your first post and your second, seem completely unrelated. That is good.

There is a crisis there as Muslims and terrorists kill each other and we have friends on the ground helping the children--or were. I am not sure of the present status. They have shared some heart-rending stories with us. They are/were physically present working with the victims and have never mentioned children being bombed by Saudis.

They have also never mentioned Trump helping Saudis kill children because Trump hates children and women. Neither does your linked article. Is that just something you feel in your heart toward Trump?

Don't be gullible! Have you ever heard of "turning a blind eye"? Or, "Throwing the brick and hiding the hand"? America has her dirty hands and monies into many things and places around the world; yet, its leader is claiming to be a "Nationalist". Of course, we all know what that means. It seems you need more bloodshed, dead children, and Trump flying the bomber. I guess you believe the official account of the Saudi-born American journalist's death? Your President is willing to "turn a blind eye" to the death of this man to ensure a "pig-in-blanket" promise the Saudis will buy billions of dollars of America's weaponry.

Are you willing to blacken your heart to stand with this administration? GaoLu, you may be an intelligent man, when it comes to certain book knowledge, but you show little common sense when it comes to "American Greed", etc. CM

PS. The article above is not the whole story like the Trump tax cut, his declaration of being a "Nationalist" ("dog whistle"), and Kavanaugh's past dealings. I don't hate America. I am just holding up a mirror. Peace? CM

    IN TIME OF NEED...

Trump threatens to withhold California fire aid, citing state's 'gross mismanagement' of forests

Amy Lieu By Louis Casiano, Amy Lieu, Lukas Mikelionis | Fox News

"Does the US President have a heart of compassion for anyone? This is a very sick behavior to even to think of doing the above...

Just hours after President Trump issued an emergency declaration to provide funds to help firefighters in California as they battle at least three major wildfires across the state, the president threatened to withhold the federal payments -- citing the state's "gross mismanagement" of its forests.

Tweeting from Paris early Saturday, Trump wrote that “there is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly fires in California.” He added that “billions of dollars are given each year, with so many lives lost, all because of gross mismanagement of the forests. Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!”

The Camp Fire in Northern California, which has destroyed nearly 6,500 homes and killed at least nine people, appears to be the most destructive fire in at least a century. According to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection agency, the fire burned around 100,000 acres and just 20% is contained.

The wildfire in the North incinerated most of the town of Paradise with flames, authorities said Friday. "There was really no firefight involved,” Capt. Scott McLean of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection said, adding that the crew had to focus on helping people to get out alive. “These firefighters were in the rescue mode all day yesterday.”

The town, where around 30,000 people live, was struck by the blaze that destroyed nearly 7,000 structures, mostly homes, in just a day..."

Seems like you are misinterpreting what Trump has said ... since he spoke about separate matters (a) federal aid to fight the current fires, (b) re-assessment of forest management in CA (and possible withholding of further regular annual funds, because the current regularly paid sums of money to be used to prohibit such disasters apparently have not produced desired results)

Are only outsiders able to see these simple facts even from the rather biased statements made in the comment to which I am replying?

    Wolfgang,
You make some valid points (though not completely). However, inside or outside the USA, it's, clearly, proven Mr. Trump (whom you like) is addicted to not telling the truth. This is another Trump tactic to doublespeak. I find it unusually appropriate for Mr. Trump to talk about changing policies in the middle of a disaster (Calif. fires) and death. Yet, it's inappropriate and "not the right time" to discuss commonsense gun laws when there is death by mass shooting --Political Hypocrisy 101. CM

    Sir,
"I am surprised" you DIDN'T acknowledged my points of truth about Political Hypocrisy 101. Have I not spoken the truth?

No, I am NOT "addicted", by the '"hate politics" of the Democrat party'. I'm not a "Dem" or a "Repub". You can love the man Trump, but don't become blind to his blatant lies, sexual-misdeeds, payoff, bullying, meanness, and power grab. These things can be independently proven. What I shared may be an "inconvenient truth", but nevertheless, the truth.

Wolfgang, you're far too intelligent to suspend with so much reality of this man's voluminous mendacious speeches and behavior because of your love for the American President, Mr. Trump. He's probably a good man deep within, but he is a bad US President by anyone's standards, foreign or domestic. No hate, I am just holding up a mirror. When Trump changes his behavior, it's then, that the mirror will change the images it reflects. Can you agree with this, Mr. Wolfgang? CM

Trump reversed himself on his "threatens to withhold California fire aid, citing state's 'gross mismanagement' of forests". It was no misunderstanding of his words.

Wolfgang, if you want to apply the label "hate" to anything, try it here. In addition, you can throw in the words insensitive, inappropriate, and inconsiderate and would be correct in describing the President and his behavior. CM

Why not the president? Why wasn't there an alternative plan in place to get the president to the cemetery in case the helicopter was grounded?

And if this president is SUCH a champion of veterans and SO wanted to be at the European cemetery, but couldn't, why didn't he make it to Arlington National on Monday? Isn't it just a bit odd that it was raining in D.C. too? I don't know if you are being trollish or you relish being grossly uninformed, but you must stop trying to speak for Mr. Trump. When you do this, the little credibility you have left, in these forums, go up in flame, like the California fires.

    1. Canceling the trip to the cemetery that was in France. "Weather conditions prohibited Marine One from taking" Trump to the site in France. However, He could've taken a motorcade there. Remembrance was a part of the trip.

    2. When Trump returned to Washington, D. C., USA, with "nothing" on his schedule, he didn't even send a note out to the veterans. This man took the day off. Trump did nothing in remembering the veterans. He could have walked or taken a motorcade to the Arlington National Cemetery. No, he sat in the White House ("zoo") and tweeted out negative nonsense, a day when many felt deeply the loss of their loved one. This President is too selfish and appears to have no love, compassion or consideration for the military families. He just uses them (like at the US Southern Borders) for his convenience. Shame on your President for this heartless act. The "political world" and among military families, this is "unforgivable". Many tears were shared without their national leader even acknowledged their dead. And Trump called himself a ____________ "nationalist". How could you stand with or try to speak for such a leader?

    3. In Florida, Trump wants to ignore the military mailed-in ballots and used only the votes on Election Day. There is no proof of voters' fraud.

All that I said can be independently verified. President Trump is selfish, unprofessional, lack compassion, unfocused, shameful! Don't debase yourself. Trump is a "Fair Weather President" CM
