Well .... it's my observation of what has been happening in the USA for several decades. That country certainly is not any more the country I got to know whene I lived there from 1977-1980, or visited in-laws and friends there even in the 1990ies.

The "land of the free and home of the brave" has disappeared and been replaced by a police state land into a home of the fearful ... and currently its higher powers (those behind the scenes who pull the "health fear strings" who want to lock up more and ruin more) seem to be "free" to enslave deeper tens of millions of USA citizens into unemployment and poverty while they exploit the casino stcok market and have made billions over the last 4-5 weeks into their pockets by steering the stock prices accordingly and robbing ("investing according to their insider knowledge") the place.
