I get your point and I believe it is important preachers, and missionaries to make sure that they speak in such a way that their audience can easily understand.
I also believe that the NT as a whole gives credibility to using translations, but I am not convinced that means that translations are somehow inerrant and inspired.
Roman Catholic and Orthodox congregations accept the creeds or at least use them in worship services.
