What I'm saying is that each millennial scheme presents a different Jesus. And this divides the church. The gospel always relates to the "Jesus" it represents. And some accepting the Dispensational Jesus would never accept the Amillenn…

I agree. But it shows how OT writers did not always understand the meaning of what they wrote. I think it is something like 80% of fulfilled prophecies were not fulfilled as written.

How do you interpret this scripture? I do not think it can be any more clear that Jesus' body did not begin to rot or decay while in the tomb. My roadkill question was an attempt to make sure you understand what "rot" or "decay" means.

So based on your translator skills as opposed to the pros, why do you trust your opinions over theirs?

Luke told me who John the Baptist was in spirit. “He will turn many of the people of Israel to the Lord their God. And he will go as forerunner before the Lord in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers back to their chi…

What authorities do you base your claims on when rejecting today's NT translators?

I cannot find the gospel of the kingdom as preached by Jesus and the NT writers in any of today's millennial schemes. Where do you find mention of a millennium, or a "secret" rapture, or people flying cows to Jerusalem from around the …

I've already proven Jesus IS God beyond doubt from scripture. But you challenge the pros in their translations of scripture saying they do not know what they are doing. But I would like to know the history behind your particular group …

The Biblical Jesus needs proper understanding. Every cult claims the "biblical" Jesus.

John the Baptist and Elijah must be spiritually understood. This is why he said: "The one who has ears had better listen!"

If not trinitarian, then you are short changing people in your description of Christ. And preaching another Jesus.

I think the Reformation reclaimed a lot of suppressed truth. But it was more of a power struggle for the control and reform of something that cannot be reformed - the visible institutional church and especially the visible institutional Church/St…

If what you say is true, then Jesus was just another Pope. A Vicar of God on earth.

If Jesus was not God (YHWH), wouldn't people be worshipping and trusting in a man instead of God for their salvation. Was he just another Pope in your opinion?

But here is the problem. If your Jesus is not part of the Trinity, he is not the biblical Jesus. But instead a false Christ.

Thanks for the reply. What it all means is that Elijah was a physical symbol for the spiritual reality being fulfilled by John.

If you think Jesus' body began to rot in the grave, it did not.

So are these translators wrong? Were the LXX translators wrong to use kurios for YHWH? And the early church to understand Lord (kurios) as being YHWH?

(Quote)I believe each millennial eschatological position preaches a different gospel from what Paul and the other NT figures preached. So I avoid churches that advocate millennialism in any form. I believe it divides the body of Christ.

If you look at all the diverse positions in eschatology, we have tremendous division that did not exist before the "prophecy outbreaks" of the 1800s. Before then it was mostly Amillennialism and Premillennialism.
(Quote)Evangelicalism generally believes the Ecumenical creeds. But her eschatology is absolutely wild after Darby and Scofield. DTS. Moody etc. Add Rushdoony, Gary North. The Preterists and other persuasions to the mix and it is crazy.
(Quote)Thanks for your concern. I originally said [Jesus had] A perfect human body without decay.
So to remove any doubt about what I said, I clarified it by saying "Jesus was sinless (perfect) and his body did not begin to rot while …
